A man was left with a broken jaw after a woman attacked him in a supermarket checkout at Sydney’s Coles store.

“It was so crazy, I thought I was going to die,” she said.
“I thought I had a really bad night, but I just started walking towards the front door of the store and got in line.”
A man came out of the back and grabbed my phone and said, ‘Hey, look, there’s a man out there with your phone’.
“The woman then went to check on her phone and found a broken phone case.
She said she called the store’s manager, who told her to go to the police station.”
They gave me the phone number and said I needed to call the police, so I did,” she told 7.30.”
He gave me a statement saying it was the guy, and he just got into the car, and that’s when I went into the store.
“Police said they were called to the store about 1:00pm and arrested the man.
Police said he had been charged with theft and was due in court on Thursday.
