By this time next year, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be officially in the home market, so it makes sense that the PlayStation 3 would be the only console still available to gamers on a PlayStation 4.

While we don’t have any specific plans to roll out PlayStation Plus subscriptions, we can at least say that you’ll be able access the PlayStation Network and PS Store without a subscription.

Sony also confirmed that it’s going to roll this out to all of its PS4s and Xbox Ones on April 8.

We can also confirm that PS4 owners will be able buy games at retailers that carry the games, so the console’s online play will still be available.

We’ll keep you updated on when we hear more.
